Connections, values and coordinates
Updated
Two connections between the same nodes can serve different purposes: one starts the next action, the other provides a number, text or position.
Common values
- Execution means when to act; yes/no is a check result; numbers hold counters, thresholds, times or measurements.
- Text carries messages, page addresses or recognized text. A point has X and Y; a size has width and height.
- A window identifies the capture/input target. A detection result contains objects, not just one position.
- A list stores ordered values. A map associates keys and values, such as a window name and its state.
Keeping coordinates consistent
- Capture, recognition and the action must use the same target. Do not reuse another window's detected position.
- VM coordinates use the guest display size. Resizing the viewer does not change the guest's coordinates.
- A variable holding a check result stores a past snapshot. Run the check again for current state.
- Choose an object or iterate a detection set before using its position and size.
